Superhero Crafts That Kids and Adults Love!

You’re going to love these 40+ superhero crafts, with ideas for both kids and adults! Get projects to make for decor, gifts, and more.

Superhero Crafts

I’ll admit that when I recently said the word “superhero” to myself, I realized I had to look up the definition. Generally speaking I knew that it meant that someone had super powers, but I wasn’t sure if there was anything else.

“Superhero” these days seems to be equivalent to comic book characters – but are they the same? I had to find out. So I looked it up in the dictionary. Just to be sure.

And it turns out that yes, a superhero carries abilities (powers, if you will) beyond that of the average person. BUT they are also typically morally righteous or benevolent, which makes their counterpart the also equally powerful “supervillain.”

Superheroes can derive their powers from technology, like Batman and Ironman. Or they can be blessed with supernatural or non-human strengths or abilities. Both are acceptable.

And right now you’re laughing at me because you already knew this. Or maybe you didn’t, but you do now! Either way, you’re here for the superhero crafts, and I just want to make sure I’m using the proper terminology when I share with you.

I grew up with four brothers, so superheroes were just part of the deal. We all loved them. And as I’ve grown up, the popularity of the female characters has grown too. So there’s a little something for everyone on this list!

And it doesn’t matter whether you are looking for kids crafts or adult crafts – you’ll find both here (I broke it out by section). Take a peek at these 40+ ideas and give one of them a try. Then let me know your favorite in the comments! Happy crafting!

PS – which superhero is your favorite? When I was young I liked the Incredible Hulk and Green Lantern. Now? I think I might be a Wonder Woman fan. But I’m still deciding. What about you?
