These Duck Tape holiday gift tags are so easy to make – and are dry erase on one side. You’ll love being able to use these again and again!
In my crafty adventures, there’s one aisle I can’t help but wander down every time I’m in the craft store: the one decked out with rolls upon rolls of Duck Tape.
Yes, you read that right—I’ve got a bit of an obsession with Duck Tape crafts. There’s just something about discovering the latest patterns and imagining all the possibilities that sets my creative heart aflutter.
And let’s be real, when the holidays roll around, my Duck Tape enthusiasm hits new heights. The festive designs? Absolutely irresistible.
This holiday season, I embarked on a quest to blend my love for these sticky, decorative wonders with a dash of practicality. Enter the scene: reusable gift tags.
Stick with me here (pun intended), because I’ve stumbled upon a gem of a project that combines decorative Duck Tape and dry erase tape to create something truly special. And yes, it’s as cool as it sounds.
Not only does it promise to inject a dose of personality into your gift-giving, but it also champions the cause of sustainability. Reusable Christmas gift tags? Yes, please! We’re talking about a festive flourish that won’t end up in the recycling bin come December 26th.
Instead, these tags are ready to make a comeback year after year, saving you time, money, and, let’s not forget, a bit of the planet too.
So, gather your supplies, and let’s try a Christmas craft that’s not only functional but also a feast for the eyes. Here’s how to bring this project to life, minus the mess and fuss.
Gather These Supplies
- Duck Tape in holiday designs
- Duck Brand Dry Erase Adhesive Laminate or other dry erase tape
- Gift tags – any size, any shape
- Scissors
- Craft knife
- Ribbon
To finish, write the name of the person who is getting the gift on the dry erase side (of course use a dry erase marker). And it rubs off so you can use them again. Whee!
