You’re not going to believe this, but a drop of coffee never touched my lips until I was in my late 20s. Okay, that’s not exactly true. I did try it in high school when going to coffee houses was popular, but wasn’t that impressed. It tasted like roasted cardboard to me.
I got through my first university degree sans coffee. I guess I was high on life? Whatever it was, that ended by 2005, when I started my MBA program at University of Georgia. I was working full time AND going to school.
With classes three days a week, full time work, and lots of homework on the weekends – I decided that roasted cardboard was the only way to go. That’s where my love affair with coffee began.
And it continues to this day.
What was once a drive thru latte addiction is now a coffee bar in my home. I wake up in the mornings and the first thing I do is put on a pot of brown energy juice. My favorite coffee? Bones Coffee. It’s the skulligan on the logo. They have a pretty fun brand!
I’m assuming a lot of you have a coffee bar in your home and a similar addiction, so I wanted to share some fun ways to decorate the coffee space in your home. Specifically, with some DIY coffee bar signs you can make yourself.
These projects range in skill set from very beginner (never crafted before) to “I can use power tools.” Most of them are very easy, and a lot of them use Mod Podge.
Don’t be afraid to “zhuzh” up your kitchen with one of these great ideas! Then I want you to leave me a comment and let me know two things. First, what is your favorite coffee or tea? And second, when did your addiction begin?
Happy crafting!

BIG love for this post. So many varieties of a similar idea. 1) Favorite coffee is what's on sale. 2) Got hooked on my first job (in my teens and became my lifelong career.)
