Re-do a medicine cabinet with a little paint, paper, and Mod Podge! This is so easy and makes a big impression in your bathroom.
Hello Mod Podge Rocks readers! Justine from the Sew Country Chick ranch here! I’ve been giving my old 1920’s bathroom a little cosmetic facelift and thought I would share this fun and easy medicine cabinet redo with you.
Re-do a Medicine Cabinet
It’s very, very easy – you just need a few simple supplies:
- Mod Podge Matte
- Wall paper or scrapbook paper scraps (fabric would also work too)
- A brush
My old bathroom had one stained glass window in it and doesn’t get much natural light so I have been trying to add some cheer with color. I love PATCHWORK and wanted to try a little patchwork look inside.
I cut up pieces of vintage wallpaper and scrapbook paper and glued them to the back wall of the cabinet with the Mod Podge basic formula.
Then I let it dry and covered it with two coats of Mod Podge to make the paper washable. Optionally, you can add a waterproof sealer to make it very moisture resistant (pick something brush on and clear). It was so easy, but I think it makes a big difference.
