Use an adhesive peel n' stick stencil to apply polka dots to the outside of a glass vase – perfect for holding school or desk supplies.
Seriously, it's hard to mess up with these things. They are thin, sticky, and work a lot like screen printing.
So easy in fact, that I made this cool little storage jar in just a few minutes. It's the perfect milk jar for holding school supplies!
All you need to make this simple project is a jar, stencil, scraper, and some sort of paint.
Podgeable Glitters work fabulous on a project like this, but I choose to use plain old craft paint so I could have a fun flat gold finish.
The stencil is reusable, so when you are done be sure to wash your stencil so you can use it again!
Next, get a small amount of paint on your scraper, and slowly apply the paint all over your stencil. Work in one continuous direction evenly coating the paint all over the stencil area. Add more paint to your scraper as needed.
When you are done, try to scrape off any excess material. The paint is suppose to apply thick, so be sure to scrap lightly across.
I knew you would understand. 🙂
