Make a Christmas bunting and gift wrap using simple materials like Duck Tape – these projects are easy and perfect for the holidays.
I’m always up for a challenge – and I get asked all the time if Mod Podge can be used with Duck Tape. It doesn’t work directly on Duck Tape, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me. I was determined to think of a way to incorporate the two, because let’s face it: Duck Tape crafts are the bomb!
Do you love my Duck Tape bunting . . .
So I took the challenge of creating Duck Tape crafts, and I made the projects above. Here’s how I did it.
Duck Tape Creative Gift Wrap
Gather These Supplies
- Duck Tape in your choice of patterns
- Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
- Baker’s twine
- Wood letters – to spell “peace”
- Craft glue
Fold the Duck Tape in half around the baker’s twine.
Continue doing the same thing at equal intervals along the baker’s twine. Make sure that the pieces of Duck Tape are relatively the same size.
Using the scissors, cut the Duck Tape rectangles into triangle shapes. Be very careful not to cut into the baker’s twine!
To make your gift wrap garland, use small pieces of Duck Tape and the same method you used for the larger banner – you’ll also make a much longer garland so that you can wrap it around several times.
Then behold your finished projects! Now go out and get your Duck Tape – there are so many amazing holiday colors and patterns. I think my favorite is the Gold . . .
