DIY Plastic Storage Keychains
Gather These Supplies
- Clear plastic tubes with caps – you want to make sure that the tops are secure enough to stay on while hanging from a keychain, so they should be screw-on or secure very firmly
- Mod Podge Matte
- Thin utility twine
- Keychain split rings
- Scrapbook paper
- X-Acto knife
You’re going to start with your scrapbook paper and one of your clear plastic tubes.
Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge on the tube and wrap it with the wrapping paper square. Use your thumb to press out any bubbles and to smooth the paper.
While the tube dries, take a sharp knife and poke a hole in the top. Cut a 2-3 inch piece of string or thin twine, fold so the ends meet and tie a knot. Thread the loop of the string through the hole of the cap and secure the knot inside the cap with a dot of hot glue. Add a key chain ring.
