Learn how to make a popsicle stick frame – you can clip any photos or notes, while adding a little copper leaf glam to your life!
I've been loving all things copper lately! I recently made some copper wire heart photo holders that I just adore. I had some extra copper leaf from a previous project and thought it was time to put it to good use!
I whipped up this magnetic frame with popsicle sticks where you can clip any photos or notes on the fridge, while adding a little glam and sophistication to your life.
Popsicle Stick Frame
Here's what you will need:
- Copper Leaf
- Large Popsicle Sticks
- Mod Podge (matte or glossy will work)
- Hot Glue Gun
The first thing I did was give my popsicle sticks a nice coat of white paint to give a contrast to the copper leaf.
Next, apply some Mod Podge to half of the popsicle sticks. Don't bother buying expensive gold leaf adhesive, Mod Podge works just as well and you probably already have some on hand!
Adhere the copper leaf to the Mod Podge. After the glue is dry, brush away the excess leafing.
Hot glue some vertical popsicle sticks to the back to make everything stick together. No, it's not pretty, but no one will see it!
Attach a small clothespin with another dab of hot glue as well as some strong magnets to the back and you are finished!
