Are you wondering how to organize a craft cart? I decided to get one for National Organization Month and here’s how I put it together!
Are you a fan of color? Because I am. And I’m going to be honest, I don’t love organizing, so colorful supplies make it that much easier!
Every January I do a revamp of the craft studio, and I always end up at Michaels grabbing supplies to help me organize.
This year I decided it was time to embrace the mobile craft cart! I’ve been so jealous of other studios I’ve seen where folks have supplies that they can just wheel around . . . so I decided to make my dream a reality.
January is National Organization Month, and this month’s Michaels Makers challenge was organization and storing craft supplies. I was SO excited given the new line of storage and organization product at Michaels called Cre8ted Spaces.
It’s available in stores now and has tons of different colors, bins and office supplies – with more than 300 new items in 4 coordinating colors, you have to check it out!
My mobile craft cart was purchased from the line, then I also got some boxes, a pencil organizer, and some containers.
Of course you’ll need a variety of box sizes and then some small containers for all of those little items like buttons, glitter, etc.
At the bottom of my cart I put a basket for cards and then a white pail with a lid for larger items like yarn and fabric. This cart holds my most used items and I wheel it around as I need it!
I’m going to be honest, I am more excited about the colorful items than the organizing itself. I mean who doesn’t love this palette?
Now that I’ve shared my new cart and craft organizing tools with you I’d love to know, what one item do you plan to add to your craft studio to organize it this year?
