I don't know about you, but I have tried to get my dad SO many different types of gifts . . . ranging from a Christmas Story leg lamp to a pint sized replica of the Billy Ray Cyrus tour bus. The standard stuff like ties and socks never worked, so that was me thinking outside the box . . . and that didn't work either. But this Father's Day gift idea from David at Cheltenham Road made me realize something about my dear dad – I just need to make him what he wants!
My dad is an ex-hippie (in the corporate world for a long time and now getting back to his roots) who purchases beaded bracelets from Etsy, so I know he appreciates handmade. And I know he'd appreciate this for his desk at work. It looks so simple – even I could do it. And if I can do it, that means you can too.
