Vintage table top.

vintage table

Isn't this vintage table top beautiful? I love the paper that was used for the top, it really adds a romantic element to the whole piece. It kind of makes me want to run out and find a pretty side table so I can duplicate this entire project. Oh, and they mention a great idea - using photocopies if you don't want to use any of your older documents. Continue Reading

Table top love.

mod podges side table

How fun is this little side table? I like that it is a pretty plain table with just a pop of fun on the top. I would love to roll over to this thing every morning to turn off my alarm. I'm quite sure there is a table waiting at my local Goodwill for a fantastic revamp just like this one. If you are curious how it's done, click through the link Continue Reading

Mod Podge table – a periodic table.

Mod Podge table - a periodic table

I had a really fun chemistry teacher in college - I know, it's hard to believe. He was a hoot and made it fun to learn chemistry. I even took night classes so that I could take classes from him. He was definitely a hippie and liked to blow things up. Who wouldn't want to learn from this guy? I credit him with being able to take advanced organic Continue Reading

Ugly side tables turned pretty.

When I'm out thrifting (a skill I have yet to master), I always have such a hard time falling in love with ugly furniture. I just can't seem to look past how it looks in the present time and dream up a better future for such items. I totally think Naner-a-Day rocked this table her husband made her hold onto, though. It looks like a completely Continue Reading

DIY side table made with Mod Podge

One of my favorite things to Mod Podge is furniture. It's so satisfying - I feel like I really accomplished something if I decoupage an item larger than a big box. I've done a few furniture projects in my day, and I like my paint bright. This DIY side table is right up my alley. Check out that awesome blue and those flowers on top . . . if you are Continue Reading

Decoupage table with faux utensils.

Decoupage metal table

I have a big fat crush on this metal decoupage table. At first, I didn't even realize that the utensils were Mod Podged onto the surface . . . I thought they were real. Ha! What a fun prank to play on a family member before you bust out the real silverware for them. Anyway, this is a pretty cool article about how to decoupage on metal (with Continue Reading

Wallpapered DIY end table.

wallpapered table

When I see a piece of furniture that needs a little work, I usually jump right in with the paint. I'm not sure why that's always my automatic response to something that needs some love, but it is. Not for long, though! Do you see how gorgeous this DIY end table looks with wallpaper on the top? I love that it keeps the same feel of the original Continue Reading
