Coin purse upcycle.

painted wallet

Since I started my new blog Washi Tape Crafts, if I see anything with washi tape on it I get a little thrill. Then if it incorporates Mod Podge, I practically pass out and my head explodes. My two favorite things in one project? How could this be? Well, Ann-Kay managed to do it when she revamped a coin purse, and she "put a bird on it" to make it Continue Reading

Paper and book holder makeover.

Mod Podge document holder

Have you ever seen these document holders before? I used to use one at work ALL the time. And honestly, I don't have one right now, but I could totally still use one. I'm always reading documents and typing on the computer, and this makes it nice for everything to be an eye level rather than having to blow your back out over a desk. Niki decorated Continue Reading

Vintage table top.

vintage table

Isn't this vintage table top beautiful? I love the paper that was used for the top, it really adds a romantic element to the whole piece. It kind of makes me want to run out and find a pretty side table so I can duplicate this entire project. Oh, and they mention a great idea - using photocopies if you don't want to use any of your older documents. Continue Reading

Father’s Day craft: letter blocks.

Fathers Day craft Mod Podge letter blocks

My dad is really hard to shop for. Like maybe the hardest dad to shop for in the whole world. He buys whatever he wants, when he wants it. Do you remember me telling you the same about my mother? Well, yeah, they are both like that. Which puts me in an awesome position when I need to come up with gift ideas (and I'm being totally sarcastic). My Continue Reading

Table top love.

mod podges side table

How fun is this little side table? I like that it is a pretty plain table with just a pop of fun on the top. I would love to roll over to this thing every morning to turn off my alarm. I'm quite sure there is a table waiting at my local Goodwill for a fantastic revamp just like this one. If you are curious how it's done, click through the link Continue Reading

Mod Podge an ikat clock.

Mod Podge DIY ikat clock

I think the color blue looks fantastic-o with gold. And I love ikat patterned things - don't you? This ikat pattern actually looks like fabric, but it's wrapping paper. I love that. Mandy has put together a super easy and and beautiful tutorial for how all those items come together with Mod Podge in the form of an awesome clock. What do you think? Continue Reading

Magnets for medicine cabinets.

mod podged magnets

Are you in spring cleaning mode? I was for a few days, until I realized how stinkin' much little bins cost. That kind of put a damper on my efforts. But look! Aren't these medicine cabinet magnets so genius? I love that they have prettiness Mod Podged to them. I also love the price tag. I think if I had a handful of these to organize my bathroom Continue Reading
