My recent move required me to go through all of my craft supplies. I'm telling you my friends, if you need to pare down the crap in your craft room, pretend you are moving. You can even pretend you're only allowed to bring ten boxes with you. Can you imagine? Well, I didn't pretend – I did. I parted with a lot of stuff, but one thing was very difficult to part with . . . my fabric scraps! They don't take up a lot of room, so they are easy to bring. But at the same time, I realized that I keep carrying my scraps around with me, instead of actually DOING something with them. That's where Stephanie's project comes in! She used her fabric scraps to make this fun little sewing machine canvas. Which gives me a great idea – I'm going to do the same thing in my new studio, and do a series of craft supplies (like scissors, a Mod Podge bottle, etc). Thanks to Stephanie for this brilliant idea. And if you want to know how she made her canvas, which I know you do, visit her at the link below.
