Cleaning out the closet is one of those things I don’t do very often, but when I do, there is a lot of satisfaction. There are so many clothes I don’t wear! On a recent trip to Target to get organizational aids for my closet, my friend let me know that I needed “big girl” hangers. Um, you mean the $1 plastic ones aren’t for adults? Apparently they are for college kids, and wood is where it’s at. Not to be one to be left behind, I got myself some wood hangers. But what I really love about the plastic hangers is that they are bright colors . . . and I actually use them for color coding items. That is where this tutorial comes in – if you personalize your wood hangers like Virginia did, you can have the best of both worlds: personalization AND style. I may give up plastic hangers, but I won’t give up Hello Kitty! That’s a compromise, right?
