The picture above is of my best friend. What – did you expect to see a person? My best bud is an 18 pound, 11 year old pig named Roxie. Yes, I said “pig.” She’s actually a pug, but she’s such a snorty little snuggly puggie that I affectionately call her “piggie.” Roxie and I have been together for all of her 11 years, and in the last 2 years, we have worked together every single day (since I’m working from home now). It’s kind of funny when your co-worker can’t talk, always wears a fur coat around the office and sleeps all day, but hey – I love it.

As Roxie gets older I am more concerned about her nutrition, and I’ve been giving her a combination of dry and wet food. My wet food of choice is ALPO®, a brand that she particularly likes. I think you are going to like this: Roxie recently got to start in her own little ALPO® mini commercial! Take a peek below at the Roxie’s Happy Starts Here Video by ALPO®:

Think that’s funny? See what else our focus group has to say about our favorite blogger dogs! Roxie wasn’t the only blogger pooch that ended up in a video – there are some other cuties too.

If you are looking for a great food to feed your best friend, take a peek at ALPO®’s offerings. Here’s what you should know:

  • Food features healthy protein sources, wholesome grains and accents of veggies
  • Supports a healthy coat and strong bones and teeth

And one last thing – if you want to share a photo or video of your dog with ALPO®, post on Instagram with the #HappyStartsHere hashtag. Check out the ALPO® Instagram page for more great videos and pics!

Oh man, I LOVE pugs! My girlfriend has one and I can’t get enough of her snores and little smashed face. I just love her! Your piggie is SO cute in her rainjacket in her debut! And I hopped over to the Alpo Instagram face and did you see that little doggie in their header picture with the toothy grin. I seriously laughed out loud!
