I’m always in the mood to decorate frames. It doesn’t matter what time of year. It’s such a quick and easy project that I love making frames for each and every holiday as well. And if I’m going to start with a holiday to craft for, it’s definitely going to be Halloween – hence this cute lil’ frame that I made with supplies I already had. I literally dug through my stash and found the supplies to make it. And can I tell you there is nothing more satisfying than making something with what you already have, as opposed to purchasing new goodies. Don’t you think? Here’s how I made this frame.
Gather These Supplies
- $1 wood frame
- Mod Podge Matte (you can use Gloss too)
- Halloween scrapbook paper – one sheet
- Martha Stewart Acrylic Paint – Purple Yam
- Jolee’s Boutique Lacy Skull with Rose Dimensional Stickers
- Craft knife and mat
Place a medium layer of Mod Podge on the front of the frame. Place the paper onto the front, center and then smooth. Smooth, smooth, smooth with your hands (I use a brayer). if Mod Podge comes out the sides, don’t worry – just wipe it away with the brush. Don’t Mod Podge over the paper at this time – let it dry first for for 15 – 20 minutes.
