Lately I’ve been on the lookout for delicious recipes that are good for me and are easy to make . . . and that give me leftovers. I like to make tasty stuff and keep it around for a few meals. While I enjoy cooking, my schedule makes it a little difficult to cook every day! I save a lot of time by searching for recipes online, and I’m always willing to try new things.
One cool thing that McCormick (the spice maker) did recently is find the top 10 most-searched dinner recipe terms (during the fall of 2012) and matched them with simple and flavorful recipes – and you can find them all at McCormick.com. One of the recipes they suggested was the Herb Chicken Skillet with Spinach and Tomatoes. So I gave it a try. And it was super duper easy! Take a peek:
Not only did it look good while I was making it and when I finished, but it tasted delicious, which I credit to the yummy McCormick spices we used in the recipe: Basil, Black Pepper, Garlic and Oregano. It was definitely a family favorite that we will be making again.
So to celebrate making your own delicious dinners, I am hosting a “Homemade in America” contest – one lucky winner will receive the McCormick gift set shown below. Just let me know in the comments: What’s your favorite McCormick spice? Contest ends 10/31; US & Canada residents only, age 18 and up. Thank you!
