This post brought to you by BIC®. All opinions are 100% mine.
Back-to-school is a stressful time for people. There are so many things to keep track of, especially when you have multiple children involved in multiple activities. And I’m a visual person, so I don’t like always keeping everything electronically. My solution? Create a magnet board where you can track everything. And of course, you can decorate your own magnets. And for writing items on the magnet board? BIC Back-to-School products, like the BIC Atlantis® pens.
Here’s how you complete this project.
Gather These Supplies
- Magnet board
- Mod Podge Matte
- Wood thought bubble shapes
- Acrylic paint in the colors of your choice
- Scrapbook paper
- Cereal box or used cardboard
- Craft glue
- BIC Atlantis® pens and paper for writing notes
Paint the wood shapes in the color of your choice. Let dry.
Now, my wood shapes didn’t have a back. So it was time to improvise. I used a cereal box.
I traced the shapes on the back of the cereal box with a pencil and then trimmed to fit.
Then I Mod Podged the shapes and adhered the scrapbook paper. Let dry, cut out and then Mod Podge on the top of the paper.
Adhere each cereal box piece to the shape it goes with using craft glue. Let dry.
Then write your notes with your fancy pens, and attach to the magnet board!
My pens of choice for writing my notes are BIC Atlantis® pens. They come in classic ink colors, feature BIC’s exclusive Easy-Glide System® ink, with up to 35% smoother writing compared to traditional BIC® ball pen ink systems. They also come in fun colors, which I love. I’m a huge fan of awesome pens, and these fit the bill!
