Movie night done right.

I’m a HUGE movie fan – aka, a huge fan of sitting on my buns and being entertained while eating candy. How about you? My boyfriend and I have a date night each Saturday, and we usually end up going out to dinner and then watching a movie afterward. Sometimes we go to the theater, but a lot of the time we just sit at home. There are three things I recommend that you do for any perfect movie night:

1. Make sure you have a comfy seat available. I like watching movies on my new couch (above). I finally have a couch after a year of not having one. You can bet I’m going to enjoy it! I stock up on pillows and blankets too. I don’t want to be too cold, and I certainly don’t want to get up after the movie has started!
2. Make sure you have the right snacks on hand. There’s nothing worse than opening the cabinet and realizing you have no treats with which to enjoy your movie. Get your significant other to hit the store before they come over to grab your popcorn and candy (can you tell I’ve done this before?).
3. Snuggle your pug. Maybe this is just for me . . . but seriously, I always take the pig out right before the movie so she can sit in my lap the entire time. I love having Roxie snuggle with me during movies.

So now I present to you one of the largest challenges of having a movie night – finding the right movie! I have a tool you’ll definitely want to check out that will help:
