Mod Podge Rocks book and Michaels gift card giveaway!

RAOK1

Today is the last day of Random Acts of Kindness Week. I celebrated a few days ago with Michaels by making DIY gift boxes for friends . . . today I’m doing a giveaway for all of you to finish out the celebration.

If you’ve been wanting to purchase my new book Mod Podge Rocks but haven’t had the funds, the world just became a brighter place! Not only am I giving away five copies of my book today (signed), but I’m also going to include a $5 Michaels gift card with each so that you can buy something fun for yourself. Or maybe you’d like to spend the money to make a craft it forward project of your very own. It’s up to you!

Did you know that you can get my book at Michaels? Yep, in the Mod Podge aisle.

Michaels is participating in Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 11-17, by asking customers to share their own random acts of kindness on the Michaels Facebook page and to use the hashtag #RAOKDIY when sharing on Twitter and Instagram. Customers who want to “craft it forward” can find inspiration for Random Acts of Kindness projects to give to others on the Michaels Random Acts of Crafting Pinterest board.

  3. I may send out a few cards that I normally wouldn’t – ” just because” cards.

  4. I would love to have your book!

  5. Cara Halvorson says:

The only thing close to a RAOK this week I guess is that I listened to my sister for almost three hours blow off steam after a really bad week. It’s the least I can do. She leads a very busy life with a full time job, work on her master’s and a husband all to look after. She thanked me profusely afterward and she seemed in much better humor so I reckon it did some good :)

  6. Would LOVE to win this….thank you

  7. How cool! I have seen your book at Michaels, but have not had the chance to check it out. I love mod podgeables!

  8. I like helping random strangers find things in stores. Sad, but true. You can never find a store person when you need one.

  9. Recently, I have been thinking about baking and taking it to the Ronald McDonald House that I pass on my way to work. This just might give me the push to do it. =)

  10. The best part about the RAOK is the RANDOM part. A couple times a year I get little gifts for everyone in my section of our office, and since it is all about not knowing who did it I also get one for myself. I then type a note to someone outside of our office asking him to give one to each person (including me) and thank them for being a part of our team. Great fun to watch everyone ask everyone else (including me) if they know who it is from.
