Do-it-herself with Home Depot.

TILE PROJECT 5

Are you a woman who likes DIY projects? Of course you are – that is why you are here on my blog! Well, more and more women these days are tackling DIY projects, especially around the home. I’ve been working on my muscles lately precisely for this reason!

I’m excited to share that I’m working with The Home Depot on their new Do-It-Herself Workshops! Let’s stop pinning and start doing (gulp). Seriously – I love getting inspiration online, but I love making. That’s why I started my blog . . . to share my projects! So any excuse to make something is awesome by me.

The upcoming workshop is all about taking a Pinterest idea and making it a reality – the mosaic mirror! Create a Pinterest-inspired mirror frame using mosaic tiles and select products that will update the look of any existing mirror. Here are the details!

TOPIC: Inspired by Pinterest: Framing a Mirror with Tile
DATE: February 21st
TIME: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
WHERE: Your local Home Depot. Find a workshop here.
COST: Free!

I’ll be co-leading a workshop at my local Home Depot and I can’t wait to get my hands dirty!

The Home Depot wants everyone to have the skills and confidence to be a first class do-it-yourselfer. These free weekly workshops are a great way to get step-by-step instructions and hands on experience learning to do basic repairs and easy home improvements.

In addition to the workshop on the 21st, we’re having a Twitter chat on February 7th at 8pm EST/5pm PST all about the Do-It-Herself workshops! I’ll be an on hand expert to answer questions for you, which is fun for me because I love to chat. All your questions will be answered and there are prizes. So join us at the hashtag #DIHWorkshop – you’ll be able to join the chat here.

Disclosure: The Home Depot partnered with bloggers such as me for their Twitter Party and DIH Workshop program. As part of this program, I received compensation for my time.
