A bright approach to style.

If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile, then you know I have an affinity for bright colors. I love the Mod Podge logo, for example, especially the orange. Well, my appreciation of bright colors often extends to my outfits. I LOVE putting together outfits with a pop of color, then planning the rest of my outfit around it. Which is what I did above with this chevron sweater with the bold shades of orange and green.

In addition to bright pops of color, I like making me outfits look nice and a little bit more dressy (common here in the south) but I have to add an element of casual (northwest roots). I frequently wear denim skirts with more sophisticated clothing items to make me feel more comfortable and to fit my personality. I’m living through the winters in denim skirts and I always add one thing: tights or leggings. There are so many reasons I love tights: you can add color to any outfit and you can be comfortable. This is especially important if you are an active mom.
