“Dinner not art” daisies.

This post is brought to you by gooey, creamy, delicious KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese. Start making digital macaroni art at DinnerNotArt.com today.

I am totally guilty of playing with my dinner as a child. I pushed it around on my plate to avoid eating it – and tried to make it look like more was gone than actually was. When I heard that there was an iPad app that would essentially allow me to do this virtually, I was in. Behold my fun macaroni art! And I bet your kids will love making some too.

So how did I do it? I tried out the KRAFT “Dinner Not Art” iPad app (you can play on the web if you don’t have an iPad). I thought this app would provide hours of entertainment and it completely delivered. And the best part – what I really love about it – is that for every noodle used in your art, KRAFT donates 10 real noodles to Feeding America®. So you can feel good about playing!

My only problem with these sorts of apps is that I get really into them, and I can spend hours drawing and making designs. But that is okay, because the more you play, the more noodles are donated.

At the end I submitted my design to the tune of 340 noodles. I named my piece “Field of Daises.”

Yay! Now head over to the Dinner Not Art site and spend a little time – it goes to a good cause.

Disclosure: As part of the DailyBuzz Moms Featured Publisher Program, I received a stipend from KRAFT in exchange for my participation in this program.
