Do you like candy? Of course you do! I have a huge sweet tooth, so when I found out that my friend Courtney from Pizzazzerie came out with a new book called Candy Making For Kids, I was thrilled. The interesting twist is given away by the title – the recipes are candy making (of course), but they are easy enough to do with children. You can have fun together and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
This book is full of easy-to-follow candy recipes for kids. There are more traditional recipes such as toffee and fudge, but there are also whimsical creations such as candy caterpillars and candy play-dough. These recipes are perfect for children’s parties, holiday parties, packaging up for friends, or simply enjoying at home!
One thing that intrigues kids about cooking in general is making fun animals. How about these cute little caterpillars?
And candy you can wear is a blast as well. I love this take on the old candy necklaces (way cuter!).
