Thank you for making it a great year for me on this blog. If you want the truth, it’s been a really difficult year for me in other aspects of my life: work, personal . . . it’s an understatement to say that I’ve had a hard time. This blog has been one of the few joys in my life during the roughness. I am so ready to leave 2011 behind and start fresh – how about you?

I think that’s one of the downsides of having a blog. No one knows what goes on behind the scenes because you/we put on a happy face no matter what, and people think you live a charmed life.
I go through the same thing, and I try to keep in mind when I read other blogs that there’s likely lots going on behind the scenes.
Anyway, wishing and hoping and praying that 2012 will be a much better year for you!

I’m so happy you do this blog Amy! This blog has really opened my eyes to a whole other way of crafting! Before I always read the direction and did everything with perfection! Now, while I still get a little bit of perfectionist going on, I am much more lax and I enjoy trying new things! So thanks so much for your blog, I am excited for an inspired 2012!!!

Thanks everyone! I will be able to talk about certain things soon. One of the good AND bad things about being on the internet is that everyone can see it, so sometimes you can’t be completely open about what is going on because someone(s) might see it. I do try to be as open as I can, and I plan to talk about at least one of the issues soon!

Right. Every one have a hard time and roughness in life but it is just a trial. We have to leave them in 2011 and start a fresh new day in 2012.

Happy New Year Amy! My 2011 was big-time difficult too, what with my two surgeries, and the death of my dearly-loved father-in-law, who passed way too early. I had to take 6 months “off” from doing anything creative, which sucked…but during that time especially: I enjoyed reading your daily emails from your blog. I have so many “starred” posts of yours in my email in-box of things I want to try and make! I’ve heard from MANY people who also couldn’t wait to say “buh-bye” to 2011 – so here’s to all of us having a SUPERB 2012! Hugs!!!
