I’m not quite sure what a federalist (in furnitureland) is, except I know this – I like them. Missey re-did one on her blog RedoPalooza, and I really adore the light gray paint with the yellow fabric. I can tell that it’s going to be in a primo place and hold some fancy little goodies. Hee hee – federal style furniture had flourishes like the one I unceremoniously ripped off this cabinet! :0) But there was no way this cabinet was built in 1820, like a real federalist piece.
