Scrapbook paper covered skulls.

I have one of these paper mache skulls sitting on my coffee table right now, having purchased it from Michaels last week.  Then I saw this post by Meg at Mega Crafty and I got so excited.  I totally want to make one of these – I’m thinking the Dia de los Muertos inspired one on the bottom right.  It’s really hard to choose though, as they are all cool.  What you might not notice from this photo but will see upon closer examination is that the insides of the skulls have bright paint, which adds a fun touch to an already awesome project.  Visit Meg here for more pictures.
