We’ve all seen those gross, worn out pieces in the thrift store. Sometimes I feel like I need my HazMat suit to carry them out the door. I feel like I overlook the potential in a lot of great things, so I totally appreciate it when people like Missey at RedoPalooza see what an item could be rather than what it is. That is the case for this grandfather clock she recently re-did, and completely metro’ed out with the addition of modern fabric behind the face. You have to see the before and full shot of the after; visit Missey’s post here.

this is really cool. I’ve never thought of revamping a grandfather clock, but I might now!
