IKEA Hackers is a brilliant site – ie., I wish I had thought of it first. I could hack the crap out of everything in IKEA with Mod Podge, and these Asker containers are a perfect example. A reader of IKEA Hackers actually submitted these containers, which had been white but got dirty from hanging over the sink. She used paper to cover them, but you can also use fabric scraps if you are on a scrapbusting mission. Check out the Asker patchwork pics here.

WOW! What a great site…Thanks for sharing…Now I am looking through my house for anything to use like this…
I Love Modge Podge!
love the colors – I’m gonna get some origami papers for decoupage!!
“I could hack the crap out of everything in IKEA with Mod Podge” — hahaha I love this sentence!
Wow, so cool. I would love to see some of your hacked crap-less Ikea stuff!
Those look awesome. I’ve been looking for something to hang above a changing table for easy access to creams and other small necessities, and I think you may have shown me the solution.
Oooh I LOVE this idea! And I love IKEA – I need to be more on the lookout for decoupage projects when I’m there!
Love, love, love the pattern!
