I get A LOT of questions asking if it’s possible to Mod Podge on metal – first of all, the answer is yes. To elaborate, you can make cute projects with tin and decoupage just like the wastebasket from Jen, one of the fantastic bloggers at DIY Life. This particular wastebasket appeals to my Norwegian sensibilities with the modern Scandinavian feel of the paper. It’s a super simple, and you can learn how to make one yourself right here.

We Scandinavians know what’s up. This is freaking rad.
This is getting a bit more subjtive, thank you to make me think this way .
This is a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing! I think I have a teeny metal bucket that would be fun to Mod Podge and use on my kitchen counter for the coffee supplies…

I tried this out and the one thing that is left out is how to cover a conical shape without the paper gapping or ending up moving away from the edge.
