Birdhouse in your soul pattern tissue nightlight.

I like two things A LOT about this pattern tissue nightlight guest posted by Jessica on CRAFT. First of all, I love decoupaging with pattern tissue (remember my large pattern gift box?). Secondly, I love the song that this saying comes from. Do you know it? I’ll let you guess.

If you’re new to decoupage/Mod Podge, this is a super easy project to start with. It looks more complicated than it is, which is great because I love simple projects with great results. Get the tutorial here.

Cute! The song is They Might Be Giants’ ‘Birdhouse in your Soul’ from their wonderful album ‘Flood’.

There’s a picture opposite me..of my primitive ancestry…that stood on rocky shores and left the beaches shipwreck free…though I respect that a lot…I’d be fired if that were my job…after killing Jason off and countless screaming argonauts :)

Yet another cute project, Amy…how do you find all these great things? I swear you are multi-talented. Even with an extra 7 hours in my day I wouldn’t be able to find all the Podgy goodness you bring to the blog. YAY for Amy!! :)
