I am a huge Pier 1 fan, and I recently made a stop by my local store because I heard that the new spring/outdoor decor had arrived. I wanted to see what they have because I was interested in some new porch furniture, plus I knew they were having a sale – and I’m all about sweet deals. Come along with me on my trip so that you can see the goods, and don’t forget to enter my giveaway. A shout out to Claude (the manager) and team at the Pier 1 on Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross, GA. They are the nicest team ever and the store is so cute! I love spring too.
I love Moroccan lanterns. LOVE! I found several of those in different shapes and sizes. I also like the vases too. The browns and reds would completely go on my little porch – and yes, Mod Podge Command Central does have a porch. It’s small, like my dogs, but it fits a few furniture pieces and (soon) lanterns.
I actually went to the back to check out furniture, and found this Santa Barbara wicker seating set that can go both inside and outside. I like it because I can put some bright cushions on it to dress it up (I love these particular cushions too). More importantly, it won’t RUST. My current set is getting rusty. Waaaah. . .
I got sidetracked by these cute and colorful birdhouses. That’s my only problem with Pier 1. There’s too much eye candy, and it causes me to have mild ADD. But is that really a problem?
Then I spotted the super cute outdoor entertaining goodies. Um, NEED those floral lights.
Do you know that I’ve never had a papasan chair? And that I really want one now, seeing the the pattern on this one in the foreground? I also want that “swingasan” chair to the back left. My deck isn’t big enough, but maybe yours is. I love love it.
Then I saw what I wanted. Dark wicker – and do you see that blue chair in the back? The kind of turquoise one? It’s mine now! I didn’t have a car big enough to bring the chair home AND the new sofa, so I’m going to have to go back this weekend. I will tell you that this shopping trip was a grand success, and I can wait to get my new goodies home and set up on the porch. I still need to go back and get those daisy lights and lanterns. So much to do – so little time.

Great shopping trip! I was there a couple weeks ago and picked up the sweetest little salt and pepper shakers- little white birds and they were only $3- regular priced! They still make me smile every time I see them on my stove top.

Weird, that’s the location I usually go to. I’m probably closer to the one on North Druid Hills (which I do go to if I want to go to Intown Quilters also) but I just like the JCB store better.

Thanks for sharing your trip since I haven’t been there in a while. Love Pier 1. Especially their original canvas art. I think every room in my house has at least one thing from Pier 1. It’s tough to change colors/themes cuz I’m running out of storage space. We did cut back a little when my new puppy ate come of my fabulous Pier 1 pillows.
