Crow vase, Eek pumpkin and happy Halloween lanterns.

When I mentioned I like the word “Boo” this year, several of you said you were into “Eek.”  This pumpkin decoupaged with book pages from Make and Takes is for you.  The ladies from Little Birdie Secrets did it as a guest post, and I especially like the die cut spider with really long legs.  Creepy!  Get the tutorial here.

Black birds are definitely creepy enough for Halloween – Maria from Bubblegum and Duct Tape made them even more so by Mod Podging them to glass bottles and adding some skull decor.  I love that she used a recycled bottle and a few punched shapes.  Simple, and it came together in such a wonderfully spooky way.  Learn more about the project here.

So many things from Halloween are creepy that it makes me smile when I see something happy.  These lanterns from According to Kelly are a perfect example.  These are great for making with kids, and if you are so inclined you can line your Halloween trick-or-treat path with them.  Take a peek at the blog entry about them here.
