Melissa from Under Construction probably didn’t know it, but when she covered this dresser in vintage sheets she was paying homage to Jan Wetstone, creator of Mod Podge. Jan is pretty cool; as a stay-at-home mom, she invented my favorite decoupage medium in her kitchen. Shortly thereafter, she decoupaged a VW Beetle with sheets. Melissa continues the brilliance of using sheets to decoupage with this dresser. I’m especially digging the patchwork effect of the drawers, because I’m so into patchwork right now. OMG! I totally love this. I completely love those vintage patterns. I have a few similarly vintage pillow cases that I will be using for a small quilt (my first) with the same effect… now I might use some left overs to decoupage with!
Hey, Thanks for the link and for letting me know about the inventor of mod podge and her car. So cool! The dresser is holding up great (since Mod Podge rocks

My car needs a face lift but I don’t think my partner would let me do that! Too cool !
I can not believe how awesome this is. I want one in my house now! Such great work! I wonder what I can decoupage with some of my sheet/fabric collection
It’s said but I actually own the same sheet as is on the second drawer! I got it at the thrift store, that’s right, ya, that’s right! Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!!

!!!! I would NEVER be brave enough to cover my car with MP and anything! Very neat though.
