Fabric tape tutorial.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany from Simply Modern Mom a week ago at Whipstich here in Atlanta. She is so sweet, and that makes me even happier to share her fabric tape made using Mod Podge with you. I have about a zillon fabric scraps and I know a lot of you do too – Tiffany’s done a full tutorial and you won’t believe how easy it is. Visit here to learn more. I’m five minutes from being all about some patchwork fabric tape!

  1. I’ve got this one bookmarked! And I can not wait to start playing with this idea!

I am thinking the strips could be woven into place mats, trim lampshades, wrapping canisters covered in the same fabric….

    I’m with you – about five minutes….

  2. That looks so easy to do!! Thanks for sharing the link!
Tim Holtz just recently came out with something called Tissue Tape but the price seems a bit much, although someday I might give in to it anyway. In the meantime, I’ll give this one a try.
I also ran into quite a few shops selling different kinds of tape like this on ETSY—some reasonable ($), others ridiculous ($$$$$).
I really want to give this one a try—incorporating fabric tape onto a card would be so cool. Thanks again!

  3. Another great site! Thanks for finding it for us.
