Miss Mustard Seed did this project for the So You Think You Can Decorate competition week four: all entries had to be white. You know what I think? I really like monochromatic projects! MMS got the antique sheet music from her grandparents’ attic, and the dresser from an antiques auction for $6. My thought is that I really need to go to more auctions, so I too can buy a dresser and do something in shades of blue. Bright blue.
To see more of Miss Mustard Seed including this dresser, go here. She’s a pro at refurbishing, especially with Mod Podge.

Blogger who loves the color blue and sock monkeys. You can find me in public easily— I'm wearing glasses and lots of stripes.

This dresser is awesone. And the picture would fit in wonderfully in a monotoned bedroom. I bet Tristan would love this dresser/pic (Enchanted Revelry) Wow!! Thanks for the introduction to Miss Mustard Seed…
wow this is really really pretty!

would SO love to re-cover something in this style, but with crazy brights instead of subdued and neutral. FABULOUS project, and what a steal!
Really beautiful! I love it.
What a beautiful make-over. I love to go to estate auctions. You can find some great bargains if you are patient.

LOVE this sooo much! What a fantastic idea!
I love the variations of color that can be found in vintage sheet music. I’ve used it with Mod Podge before myself, and it’s a dream to work with!
