I’m so happy to be writing to you today! That sounds very game show host-y, but I can’t help it – I’m excited. I’ve started working with the very fabulous Kristen Powers, and it’s definitely worth getting excited about. Kristen just recently started a new blog and design venture, and she asked me to be a part of it, designing using my “mad Mod Podge skillz.” How could I say no?
Kristen has an Etsy shop and designs some of the most fabulous digital AND clear stamps you’ll ever see. What this means is that you’ll be seeing regular posts from me using Kristen’s product, like the card above. I’ll be incorporating Mod Podge, as you would expect. My favorite item was Nouveau 2, but I really like several others. I would buy the paisley set of clear stamps but they are so small. She obviously does nice work. I’m very interested in the Mod Podge new products!
I really like her hand carved pear rubber stamp. Totally inspiring! I’ve got all the supplies to make my own stamps just waiting for me to do something with them, and now I’m definitely feeling a bit inspired to go at it.
The hand carved stamps are de-best, especially the pear! So adorable (followed closely by the cute owl, which I may or may not have already named. DO NOT JUDGE).

My card making SIL taught me about digis. The Bird on a Whim, Garden Mix background, and Owl in Flowers digis are really floating my boat!
As several others have mentioned, owls are a favorite of mine so I’d have to say *all* of Kristen’s owls!
I really like the Bee Strong digital stamp. I’ve never thought of printing stamps before! It’s such a mess free idea!

I’m torn. I like the tea cup stamp and the gnome stamp, as those are two of my favorite things. But then the Matroyshka dolls are fantastic. I feel compelled to claim the dolls as my favorite (because I’m of Russian descent and an avid collector of them) but then little cat on the pillows…

I love the poppies digi stamp! I live in California, and the state flower is the golden poppy. Around this time of year, the sides of the highways are an explosion of orange with all the poppies in bloom.

I love the ‘crazy fun alphabet’ but it was a very hard decision since everything for so cute.

I have not used Mod Podge except to seal up art projects my pre-k kids have made. I liked the inky girls the best, they would look darling on a card! I am sitting here with an ice pack on my “new knee” replacment so I am out of school for 4 weeks and would have time to become an expert with that starter Mod Podge prize….no pressure just have extra time and can’t reallly move much!
