Very few people know about or use Brushstroke Mod Podge, so let me give you some information: it’s designed to show brushstrokes. Ha ha! Seriously, it is designed to put on top of photos, paintings, etc. to seal them and to give a textured finish. Exactly like the technique Heidi from The Craft Monkey used when she created her beach portraits above. Heidi actually revamped some old plaques she had and turned them into personalized art to fit her new decorating style.
