I have to admit, I haven’t made anything for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s not really a holiday I’ve ever celebrated. That’s all about to change, because I happened upon these projects below, and wow – who knew St. Patty’s could be so cool?
St. Patrick’s Day Centerpiece by Lulu’s Tiles
Lucky Wood Board at Inspiring Creations
Spring Green Hair Clips from Cathie Filian
Shamrock Tree in Frame by Inspiring Creations (had to feature her twice!)
Are these fun or what? I think you need to make something for St. Patrick’s Day too – and you have the whole week still . . . .

Blogger who loves the color blue and sock monkeys. You can find me in public easily— I'm wearing glasses and lots of stripes.

I love my self-healing cutting mat. Of course, I use it to cut paper and what not. But I also use it when I use Mod Podge and it scrapes right off. I also use when I’m crafting stuff on the couch (lazy!) as a flat hard surface. I’ve used it as a ruler when I can’t find a real ruler. It’s so versatile!!
Melissa
I’m not much on the celebration of St. Paticks Day either, but those are really cute projects if I were.
Need some Mod Podge. Just about out!
Hugs,
Tara
Amy,
Thanks so much for the mention! My crafting life is complete lol. My favortie crafty tool is probably my cricut or sewing machine.
Thanks!

I’ve never decorated for MOST of the holidays I decorate for now that I blog/craft! It’s a sickness isn’t it!! LOL, oh yea, pick me! pick me!
Great projects! I’d have to say my favorite crafty tool right now is still, and probably always will be for awhile, my Quickutz Silhouette SD! It rocks!
My favorite crafting tool right now is my Texture Boutique for embossing. Love it!! Thanks for another chance to win
corrdl22(at)yahoo(dot)com
I plan to make pins from dominoes. Not sure yet what the image will be….. but I better get busy!
Love the Lucky wood board!
I love St. Patricks because of all the fun crafts there are to make for it!! Even more fun is that you have to be creative because there isn’t much out there. My favorite craft tool is my paper cutter. I know it seems simple but I tried to make a craft recently somewhere where I didn’t have one….big mistake! I had to go buy one!!! It’s the simple things that make my crafts so much better!!! Love the Lucky wooden sign. Looks like im on my way to the craft store later today for a few supplies to make one!
OMG!!! I am just a little bit Irish, but when it comes to St. Paddy’s Day, you’d think I was an authentic Galway Girl! I cook a mean corn beef and cabbage and drink Guiness with the best of them…
I love the bouquet of clover in the jar and the Lucky sign. I see that one being made before the end of the day today! Thanks for sharing!
Wow those are classy St. Patrick day decor! I LOVE my Big Shot! I had to get one because I can’t cut circles! It works awesome with fabric too!
I’ve never really decorated much for St. Patty’s day either though I should since my son is half Irish. Thanks for the inspiration!
Dang! I don’t think my comment posted! Well what I said is that I LOVE the St Patrick’s Day stuff you posted and my Big Shot!
My favorite crafty tool is my scissors. And I never celebrated St. Patrick’s Day either. But — I’m hunting up some green buttons because of that tree picture!
sweetiesuzy@aol.com
I forget about St. Patricks Day too! Which is crazy because my birthday is 6 days before that! But those projects are super cute! THanks for sharing them and being so inspiring!
Hi!!! Love toyur blog, I always check it!! Hugs.
Currently my favorite crafty tool is my sewing machine. But you can never go wrong with a good paper cutter.
well st. patty day is cool the shades of green and that neat clover form to play with..favorite tool?? well what would I do without my handy glue gun its a love hate relationship..

Great features this week
Here’s to another shot at winning!
I haven’t made any st.patty’s day goodies. Maybe I should. Thanks for the inspo!
MY fav crafty tool….I think I posted this on yesterday’s comment about my cutting mat under my work area. It saves my desk from everything! LOVE IT! I love all my tools–but anything to save my desk–love love love it:)
I think my hot glue gun is probably my favorite craft tool….though I am starting to really love my Cricut too:)
I am loving my Silhouette at the moment.
I use my simple paper cutter ALL the time and can’t imagine life without it
My life would not be the same without my hot glue gun!
What great St.Patricks day crafts. I have never decorated for St.P’s day either, I guess it’s time to start
)
helga.myworld@gmail.com
Maybe I’ll have to try one of these cute St Patty’s Day ideas!
Jeff.bethany.davis@gmail.com
My favorite craft tool is my paper cutter.
I don’t really have any crafting tools, unless you count scissors, a glue gun, and a corner rounder… I’d love to have a machine that made vinyl letters and shapes, but for now I just freehand with a paint pen or permanent marker- even when it comes to sayings on the wall!
I just love the “Lucky Jar” – I want one too. I am looking for a St. Pats project for a 3 yr. old.
I also want to win! thx for great posts – keep it up!
I love the St. Patrick Day projects. I need to try to make the hair clips for my granddaughters.
I’ve entered every.stinking. time! One day I’ll win. If not, it may be time for me to just go buy my own. I’m not a great mod podger. I’ve tried. My daughter Erika at Oops I Craft My Pants! is amazing at it. Mine just seem to always get botched somehow. Practice, practice, practice is all I can do, right??
Thanks for your blog. I love and adore it.
Here’s to winning….

Super glue is quite handy as well.
I have a Big Shot (thanks to a Michaels 55% off coupon last year) and a Cricut (thanks to Mom and Dad for my bday present!) I love them both but need to use them more.
Favorite tool? Hmm, I’m thinking a big ol’ plastic tablecloth to contain the mess! (:

Because of your blog, mod podge is my new favorite! I am obsessed with it!
bjc_05@yahoo.com
I have a Big Shot that I am just learning to use but I think I’m in love. I like that you can cut thicker-and more intereting-material with it.
I’m a sewer primarily, and I could not live without my rotary cutter and self-healing mat. They’ve made me 10 times more productive and accurate with my cutting!
(Mod Podge is the tool of choice for non-sewing projects though!)
bmcelroy@tampabay.rr.com
These projects are all awesome! I don’t have any St Patrick’s Day decor, maybe I should make some.
My favorite crafty tool changes week to week depending on my mood. lol. But my current favorite tool is the Cricut Expression which I got last week!

Well St.Pattys is a tradition where I live. People from all over come in celebrate and I just cant wait. I live in Savannah, GA and its a sin not to wear green for the weekend before and for St pattys day. I go all out for my clothes I tie dye anything I can green and. Its so much fun. And we drink lots of green beer

Anyways My favorite craft tool(right now) is Hmm…is my airbrush. I just have so much fun playing around with it even tho I still learning new techniques!

I just used mod podge for the first time and love it. Will be using it more for sure. Also just made my first St. Patricks day decoration too. jamesfarfar@gmail.com
I don’t have a favorite crafty tool yet, I’ll let you know after my studio is done and I can find a favorite.
Overall, my favorite tool is the sewing machine I inherited from my grandmother, but my new favorite toy is the non-stick mat I just bought. NOTHING sticks to it!
My favorite craft tool would be my new sewing/embroidry machine (thanks to my husband who always supports my hobbies.) I use modge podge a lot at school in my class room. great stuff!!

jrerwin6 at gmail dot com
I love my cricut! It’s so easy to add titles and accents to scrapbook pages now. I’m going to try cutting vinyl letters to make some wall art, too!
i love my cricut but i may love my dissection scissors more. i bought them in college because they were the perfect size (and super sharp!) for cutting small details. i don’t know what i’d do if i ever lost it!
Love love love my cricut!! Cant live without it now that I use it..
jstermite@yahoo.com
That’s a tough one, but I love my little sewing scissors that my MIL bought me. They are so handy and perfect for so many tasks.

I just got a Cricut for Christmas and I don’t know how I crafted without one! Makes all the Mod Podge projects easy!
janalee4u’at’yahoo.com
Yesterday I bought my first bottle of Mod Podge in so many years I can’t remember. Tonight I happen upon your blog. Fate? Kismet? Maybe just a blogger who is grasping at straws as she tries to remember how to craft?
I’ll be reading many of your posts!
Sue
Oh…sorry, crafty tool? I do florals, wire cutters!
I have never decorated for St. Patty’s Day, but I think I will now. These ideas are so cute!
tresak@hotmail.com
My favorite crafty tool are my left handed sewing scissors… my life changed when I quit using my mom’s righty pair and got my own grown up pair!

marlashep at aol dot com
I love my Cricut, but modge podge would make the gluing process so much easier!!
daisy41203@gmail.com
I love the St. Patrick’s day crafts! With a last name like Quinn you have to be a wee bit Irish and we celebrate every year
My favorite craft tool right now is my sewing machine, but my Cricut is a close second. Overall I’ve been using Mod Podge more than anything else recently though, so I guess that needs to be in there too! LOL
NEVER CELEBRATED ST. PATTY’S DAY?? Girl, you need to come to come on down to Cleveland and we’ll do it up! (plus, my b-day is right after and it’s been my own personal holiday….hooray!) Now my favorite craft tool…probably my X-acto knife. Couldn’t live without it! My favorite tool is my sewing machine! It’s not very portable but it’s oh-so-useful and I love it.
I have a Martha Stewart circle cutter that I LOVE!
I’ve got to admit, I’ve never made anything for St. Patty’s, either. But those crafts are super cute! And, I swear, one of these days I’m gonna win that mod podge giveaway!
missa.moe@gmail.com
I usually think St. Pat’s decor is cheesy. The ones you’ve featured aren’t, but usually, they are.
My favorite craft tool? Hot glue gun? Does that count?
bethanyweed@gmail.com
I’m not a St. Patty’s day decorator, either, but all these “lucky” things are SO cute!
My most used crafting tool is my bone folder (of all things!) I use it for everything!
My favorite craft tool is my cutting mat! It makes clean up after crafts with my kids a breeze and saves my desk and dining room table from spills.
girlfiend47 (at) gmail (dot) com
I really like the vintage look of the shamrock frame. Would love to try it.
My favorite craft tool is my cricut!

I think your blog is great. I love mod podge.. and a good scotch brite pad
a question for the pro too; if I’m mod podge-ing a softer hard suitcase (kind of like what I’ve seen before on your blog) what kind of ‘podge do you recommend? I know there are different kinds… for fabric, hard surfaces, more durable, etc. thanks for your expertise!
Never mod podge anything in my life. I need to get with the program. There’s a whole adventure on the other side of the world that I’m missing out on. In the meanwhile, I’ll stick with my handy dandy glue gun. =)
Thanks for this giveaway! I love the lucky wooden board.
I’m personally very fond of my felting needles… it’d be hard to get any of my projects done without them!
Oh!!!!!
I love St. Patrick’s Day and your crafts!!!!
meredith.mcbee@gmail.com
my fav tool really depends on what I’m doing at the moment! But I love having a good sharp strong pair of scissors. That goes for about everything I’m doing!
i love my big shot too!
I always wear green on St Patty’s Day. And love Mod Podge because of Amy!!!
i LOVE that lil’ lucky frame.. cute! ^_^
ho appena ricevuto la big-shot per il mio compleanno…e mi piace da impazzire!
I do a lot of origami and papercutting so I can’t live without my cutting knife (scalpel) and cutting mat (need a lot of paper squares ready for folding), although I do use scissors sometimes and cut freestyle in the air hehe
Don’t like my hot glue gun that much, I’d like to have a smaller and more precise one

My favorite tool is the Bind It All. I love being able to put books and other things together in that easy, sturdy way.
Swedie
My favorite crafting tool = my hands!!! I even apply decoupage glue with my fingers – crazy, I know! Other than that, I’m addicted to my scalpel…
izzy(dot)handmade(dot)creations(at)gmail(dot)com
Wow just one tool? Before I got heavy into sewing it was my Cropodile Big Bite but now it’s my sewing machine. If that doesn’t count, my rotary cutter. How did I get along without one?
Ok, that is pretty basic, but I really love my glue gun! Maybe it’s not so much that I love it and it’s exciting, but I use it a lot! rebolsen at gmail dot com
I just got done making lucky Irish dogs crafts today using Mod Podge. They turned out so cute. I could not live with my exacto knives.
I love my cricut and just plain ole scissors are always needed! My fav product is mod podge! You know you can’t do anything w/o it!
Stephanie

So GREAT!
my favorite craft tool is probably the rotary cutter.
wonderful.
My most favorite supply is probably some sort of x-acto knife or scissor, followed by some sort of glue.
St Patrick’s one of the few holidays I’ve never really gotten behind. A pity, really – green’s one of my favorite colors. Just… not Shamrock green, unfortunately.
-TLR (balloonhat@gmail.com)
I love Mod Podge! I swear I use it on everything! Thanks!
I think a pair of really great scissors would be my favorite crafting tool…because no matter what I am working on…I end up using them throughout the whole project!
I like the shamrock centerpiece. I don’t do anything for St. Pat’s except the “wearin’ of the green”. Favorite crafting tool right now would be the cuttlebug embossing folders – give me texture!
My favorite crafting tool is now Mod Podge! Where has this stuff been my entire life? I even lay awake last night thinking of things to Mod Podge…then I spotted my ceiling fan…hmmmm… how about my end table, or a backsplash in the kitchen? My husband is going to think I’ve gone insane. So much to Mod Podge, so little time….
missylou968 (at) aol (dot) com
Yea Mod Podge! add St. Patty’s day and it gets even better!
CUUUTE hair clips! The school I las worked at had a provo craft cricket circuit cutter. I LOVED IT!! I used to for everything!! One day I’d love to have one in my home. =)
I don’t know if they count as a tool, but my envelope templates have been getting a lot of play lately. I may have more envelopes than I will ever need. Just maybe.
I finally bought a rotary cutter and mat–makes quilting SO much better!
OMG LOOOOVE the barettes!I agree, St pattys isnt really a holiday I usually celebrate, other than possibly clothing my wee ones in green. now I can make DD hair pretties to match! thanks!
noblekatt@hotmail.com
I love love love mounting spray. I use it all the time. Sometimes I spray it just to spray it.
brown ink pad for dinking and distressing…easy and makes a BIG impact!
My favorite tool is my KNK (though my netbook has to be in there as well). I’d love a chance to sample the ModPodge.
Now that I’ve seen those ideas.. I can see the office being decorated with the green!! Thanks for the tips.
I would have to say my sewing machine. Having fun teaching myself to sew
How can you pick only one favorite crafty tool?! Lately, I’ve been using mod podge like crazy. I’m not sure if it’s technically a tool or not, but I’ve been using it a LOT. Also, I recently got a paper slicer/cutter which has been very handy to have, especially since I cannot cut straight even if I’m going by a line.
=)
(nicole.arnett@wku.edu)
I have so many tools that I really don’t use them all. I have been wanting a Big Shot for quite sometime but Santa read the first thing on the list and brought me a Canon camera outfit this past Christmas. I have been using it quite a bit and have found some neat ideas over your blog to preserve my pics in special ways. So I totally welcome the chance to win the Modge Podge gift pack!!!
