My bloggy pal Pam from Gingerbread Snowflakes has quite a way with Mod Podge, as you can see from two of her previous projects here and here. She has been kind enough to dazzle us again with another project. You see, Pam recently “got her gourd on” for some fall decorations, and the picture above is what resulted. You will be quite pleased to learn that Mod Podge preserves the color in greenery and leaves, which is a little something Pam taught me. Please visit her here to get the full tutorial for gourds, because you know you need them gracing your mantle. STAT.

Blogger who loves the color blue and sock monkeys. You can find me in public easily— I'm wearing glasses and lots of stripes.

Oh Amy! Thank you for sharing my gourds. I hope everyone who tries them has as much fun playing with gourds as I do!
Just beware – they can become addictive!
I just picked up a bunch more at the market last weekend. My husband’s eyes rolled so far back in his head, I was afraid I might never see them again!
I love this idea! I have some gourds that I did some stenciling and painting on; but mod podge ~ what an awesome way to do them. Thank you for the inspiration!
The gourds are so pretty! Thank you. ~Kelly
