I get so consumed with the color blue, stripes and polka dots that I sometimes forget to mention other things I love – other things like patchwork. When I discovered this table at Addicted 2 Decorating, I let out a squeal of delight. I mean seriously, the dogs all tilted their heads to one side.
Kristi from Addicted 2 Decorating bought the table base at a local thrift store, added the table top and then got kri-zazy with Mod Podge. I absolutely love the results and I just keep looking at the picture because the colors make me so happy. Go here to see Kristi’s table and then poke around to see some of her other treasures. Yay for patchwork!

Blogger who loves the color blue and sock monkeys. You can find me in public easily— I'm wearing glasses and lots of stripes.

Really cute patchwork; she did a great job! Jules
Love it! I may use this patchwork idea to cover a serving tray.
Thanks so much, Amy, for featuring my project! I’m learning that I really ♥ Mod Podge!! Always looking for new projects to use it on.
I love that table top. It is so colorful and …happy.
Oh, that is soooo cute! I need to do my wooden TV trays like that-wouldn’t that be cute!
Wow Amy…this is amazing. I love what she has done with patchwork. I have seen more Mod Podge ideas lately that I have to try and this is in the top 5%. I’m going to start looking for a small table!

Thanks everyone! Kristi, it was an honor to feature you!
And now I have to do patchwork with Mod Podge, some way, some how.
Ok, first of all Amy, I LOVE YOUR SITE…. and I’ve become totally addicted to Mod Podge!!! Second, Kristi – this table is the cutest idea and I ‘stole’ it! LOL Actually I did cover my kitchen table…. it has been fun and I can’t wait to finally sit down and eat dinner tonight at our ‘new’ table! THANK YOU for such GREAT ideas!
OMG! I am soooo happy I stumbled across this post! I am considering doing something similar to a wall in my kitchen using full-sized scrapbook paper and it never occurred to me that I could totally change my boring dining room table too!
