I’ve never featured two bloggers in a post at the same time, but I’m feeling wild and crazy today. Crazy is a good adjective actually, because Mod Podged shoes prove to me that NOTHING is too crazy to Mod Podge. Except maybe a baby diaper. Or a plant. Or your pug (no, I haven’t tried it).
As far as the projects, the first pair you see above is by Erika at Oops! I Craft My Pants – visit her entry here. The second pair is by Ashley at Make It and Love It – her tutorial is here. Now you know not to throw away those old shoes. Mod Podge them!

Blogger who loves the color blue and sock monkeys. You can find me in public easily— I'm wearing glasses and lots of stripes.

Wow, I love this idea!!
I had seen the first ones before (adorable!), but not the second ones (equally adorable!). Super creative idea… Have a good day Amy!

I admit, I love doing shoes also.
Paper doesnt work well, but fabric is easy!
I am glad I found you-people as crazy about glue as I am!
I love the shoes! Oh, and I follow your blog!
Oh my goodness! Erika is my half sister! I love her! and her shoes.
First, the name of Erika’s blog is hilarious! Second, I NEVER would have thought of doing shoes. Man oh man! You never fail to bring us the goods.
Can I comment here for the book giveaway? I am already a follower and I posted a link to your giveaway on my blog, http://www.picnicsinthepark.blogspot.com
Thanks,
Greta

I seen these and want to try it but I’m scared! Need to find an old pair of shoes in case I mess them up. They are adorable!
Oh my goodness. I didn’t expect to see those here when I clicked on your blog!
Thank you so much. You are THE best.
Also, my husband and I were joking about the Mod Podging a pug thing yesterday. I asked him if it would be okay to Mod Podge Oscar’s ears. He said no.
Dang.
That is incrediable! Mod podging shoe would have never crossed my mind. Now I totally wanna try this out, they look so cute!
I am seriously doing this one soon. I am thinking purple and black striped ones for my Halloween witch costume!
So cute!

Um… Me and My half-sister just started our comments with “oh my goodness”… I swear I didn’t see her post when I wrote that.
Just found this blog from a button on another crafters blog…you are right…ModPodge does Rock…
Those are adorable. I wonder if it will work on my old pair of fake leather shoes that are all scuffed up. They couldn’t look any worse than they do now! What a great idea.
Ashley from Make it and Love it rocks!! She introduced me to the joys of Modge Podge lol. I’m now a follower of Modge Podge rocks!!
Oh my gosh, I just asked my sister yesterday if I could mod podge my work shoes to add some style. I am so excited I saw this. Thank you Amy!!
OOOh I love those shoes !
Too cute!!! Thanks for the visit, much appreciated! I have so much Mod Podge under my nails I don’t think I’ll ever get it all out! LOL I’ve been using SO much Mod Podge lately~ from the cinnamon apples you saw, to caramel apples, to my bathroom cabinets makeover. Currently doing a kitchen makeover that includes using it once again on cabinets…but in a different way….a much longer process. Wish I had them done, at that point where I want to go one do something else!!LOL
*hugs*deb
Oh my goodness! Can I join the family now?
They are so cute!

Who wouldve thought? I am loving this idea!
Wow! I love this. I have all the supplies in my closet right now. Now I know what I will be doing this week. THANK YOU for the inspiration. Love it!
LOVE the second pair here. I must try that- perfect way to re-use old flats.
Also, love your blog- so much fun to read! Makes me wish I had more time on my hands. And I’m following the blog & on twitter.
Hey everyone, thank you for the great comments! As far as holding up, I’ve never made them, but I can offer you some tips for Mod Podge durability in general.
Just don’t wear them while wet and soggy outside, and hit them with a spray outdoor sealer. This should help you get a lot of wear!
xo to all, your comments keep me going!!
These are amazing. I ran to the store as soon as I could! I featured this on my blog at http://losamoresdedolores.blogspot.com/2010/11/mod-podge-flats.html
…i provided a link to your blog. I hope that’s okay. Thank you Amy!
