From salvaged drawers to a modular bookcase.

Mod Podge modular drawers to shelf This is the second tutorial I’m posting from Crafty Nest – the first one was a wallpaper cart you can see here. The truth is, I just can’t get enough of trash to treasure projects, and this is a great example. This drawers-turned-shelves-using-Mod-Podge are perfect for a girl like me, a girl with lots of books (Pride and Prejudice gets a special seat on the top shelf). Please visit here to find the before & after as well as a tutorial. You really won’t believe the transformation.

Also note that these drawers were recovered using Freecycle. If you haven’t been to the site, you need to visit. Especially if you like – wait for it – free stuff.

OMGosh! I LOVE this blog! This bookcase idea… LOVE IT!!! I am currently needing sooooo many bookcases, and I happen to have a dresser that’s currently in my Goodwill pile. Problem solved! THANK YOU! I can’t wait to check out the rest of this blog! I’ve been really into decoupaging lately. I’ve done a chair (which you saw) and a nightstand, and a few other things. I’m getting ready to go crazy with it! Thanks so much for the inspiration! Off to become a new follower of Mod Podge Rocks ;-)

  4. Thanks everyone!
