Switchplates are, in their original form, boring and ugly. I’m looking at the ones on the wall in Mod Podge Command Central and you know what? They don’t coordinate with or compliment anything.
The good news is that it doesn’t take much more than Mod Podge to make a switchplate wonderful. I found a la mode on Flickr originally, and she was kind enough to let me repost her fabulous switchplates. A few things to note. First of all, it’s really easy to create a switchplate yourself–check out a tutorial here. Secondly, a la mode sells her special brand of designer switchplates in her store, which holds many other cute things too. Please visit it.
Then do something about those unsightly switchplates!
